JUST because you are fifteen!

Dear Seeing eye
You seem to be the quintessential multi-tasking mother !!!
I like the way you've reasoned your way out of domestic  blunders and shaped them into learning experiences for your 15 year old son.
Entertaining !!!!!

You seem to have had a great time ....wish you'd put up a photo of the orange trees  laden with fruit and the horse drawn carriage.
You must check out my travel bogs.

North and South divide--Shame on Bangaloreans

Nupur Sethi
It's unfortunate that this should have happened. This guy's behaviour certainly was unwarranted.

I have heard that students who come to study medicine , engineering etc do face racism. Whether it's their food habit or spending power.....let's hope  Karnataka does not go the 'Maharashtra' way.

Calcuttans are the most shameless people who lack civic sense

victorysugar

Why blame Kolkatans only ? Spitting , hailing buses etc , defacing walls........I'm afraid it's a malaise that affects all Indians.

Loved your 3 tips (in purple) !!
Driving in Delhi to my work place which is 8 mins away , I never ever fastened my seat belt....found it too constricting . My fanciful imagination made me see imaginery headlines in the papers which go like this ,
"SCHOOL PRINCIPAL fined for driving without seat belt !"
I would imagine telling the cops ,if stopped, " Mai jaldi mein thi" , "Bhool gayi , abhi bandh leti hoon" or fill my eyes with tears !

THE CURSE OF FATE

basab14
Sad and touching ....something that 's happening so often.
Great story  ,maybe the second paragraph could have been written as two or three paragraphs......makes reading easier.

oooops...  these trips were in 2006 !!  My diary jottings are being transformed into blogs. And as I type them out ,memories come alive. More recently it's been Indian tours -  and yes - 'chakkar' is quite apt !
Living through suitcases begins to pall after some time.
